4 TIPS TO HELP WITH RESTLESS SLEEP AND INSOMNIA

Good night sleep is essential for your health and wellness, just like eating a healthy diet and regular exercise. Here are 4 tips that can help if you have restless sleep, insomnia, or negative thoughts at night or in the morning.

1. Don't eat before going to bed

Avoid eating 3 to 4 hours before bed - you don't want to give your body extra work when it's trying to wind down.

2. Warm shower to relax your body

Have a warm but not a hot shower before bed - you will feel so much more relaxed and grounded. You don't just wash your body while having a shower, you cleanse your thoughts, and it helps to deal with any negativity you might be feeling.

3. Drink a glass of water

Drink water an hour before bed so you are not getting up thirsty in the middle of the night. A large glass of water, preferably warm and with lemon will be perfect. Your body is made of up to 70% water and it will reward you with the right thoughts when you give back what it needs.

4. Meditation

Meditate and inhale natural incense while meditating. Before you do, think of your 3 wishes you want from life and manifest these thoughts in your meditation practice.
